In separate calls for tenders, Veolia Water has been awarded contracts to manage two wastewater treatment plants, one in Saitama Prefecture, near Tokyo, and the other in Hiroshima. With capacities of 52,000 m3per day and 247,000 m3per day respectively, the plants treat the wastewater of almost 1,000,000 people. The two three-year contracts represent a cumulative revenue of €23 million.
