Released under the GIC Framework
FAIRFAX, Va., Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Advanced training technologies for U.S. Special Operations Forces are to be supplied by CACI International under a $22 million task order.
The award, issued under the Global Battlestaff Program Support contract, is for one base year of performance with four one-year options.
Under the award, CACI will support the U.S. Special Operations Forces Planning, Rehearsal and Execution Preparation efforts by supplying advanced modeling and simulation data for fixed-wing and rotary aircraft.
"This award is important to us, as it significantly enhances our wide-ranging portfolio of solutions in the modeling and simulation world," said Paul Cofoni, CACI president and chief executive officer. "Of equal consequence to all of us at CACI is that this new work with the Special Operations community will directly help our forces prepare for missions, execute them efficiently, and come home safely."
CACI said it will supply and manage the databases, including maps and imagery, for SOF simulators.
