How The Green Economy Could Change The Future

Written by Andy Mannle, the following 10 areas could possibly get better by the increasing unstoppable green economy.

1. Buildings- With cutting edge firms building Zero Net Energy buildings they are lowering the costs of operating a building and using less energy. In California, the Public Utilities commission just launched a ZNE Action Plan to transform commercial buildings by 2030.

20% Renewable Energy by 2020

"Raising the share of renewable energy from 8.5% to 20% in the overall energy consumption is a necessary contribution to the global fight against climate change and towards better control over our energy dependence. The various uses of renewable energy are examined: electricity through wind and hydraulic energies; electricity or heat through geothermal and solar energies; electricity, heat, and bio-fuel coming from biomass.
