Wacky Technology Wednesday: Fuel Cell Charging Device

Horizon is now taking pre-orders for the MiniPak, HydroSTIK, and HydroFill products all which are alternative energy solutions which offer electricity for mobile devices in a greener way. Horizon is a team of globally based entrepreneurs, scientists and engineers from around the world who joined together to introduce commercially viable, clean hydrogen fuel cell power. They look to eliminate mankind's reliance on carbon based fuels in favor of clean, low-cost energy for all people.

Featured Website Friday: Riversimple

Riversimple is run by five men working with different collaborators to produce a technology demonstrator vehicle which was unveiled in June 2009. It is a development platform for their new powertrain technology, designed to show what is possible with today's technology. The car is a two seat local Network Electric Car powered by hydrogen fuel cells and with a body made of composite materials. It has a speed of 50 mph and can accelerate from 0-30 in 5.5 seconds.
