L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) announced today that its Command & Control Systems and Software (C2S2) division has been awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract by the U.S. Navy for systems engineering and technical support services. This is a one-year award with four option years. If all options are exercised, the total contract value will be $187.4 million.

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- A U.S. program for increasing people's confidence in district-level government in Afghanistan is to be implemented by AECOM Technology Corp.

AECOM, a California provider of technical and management support services, said the contract it received from the U.S. Agency for International Development is for the Afghanistan Stability in Key Areas-East program.

The award, which is for 18 months with an 18-month option, is worth as much as $177 million.

Tokyo, April 23, 2010 - NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701), a leading network, communications and information technology company, announced today the conclusion of a framework agreement to deliver and install 18 new Culling, Facing, Cancelling and Revenue-protection (CFCR) systems for TNT Post B.V., the universal service provider for letter mail in the Netherlands. The new CFCR systems, based on NEC's latest NS-10 platform, will be used to replace and expand upon the services currently being provided by previous generations of NEC's CFC systems.
